歌词里有些内容的出处：
1.You learn too late you've used two wishes like a fool
(当你察觉到用掉两个愿望 为时已晚 像个傻瓜)
这个是取自有名的法国童话「三个愿望」。
被仙女告知“只可以满足三个愿望”的夫妇。妈妈不慎走嘴说了“想吃大的香肠”，果然香肠冒出来了。爸爸发了火，因为脱口而出了“你为了这种事使用掉了重要的愿望。就让这东西挂在你的鼻子上吧！”这一言，香肠与妈妈的鼻子紧贴在了一起。托二位的福这么一来只有最后的一个愿望可以满足了。是指把难得的愿望用在了蠢事上的比喻

(记住在那里回了头的罗得夫人 )
罗得是圣经里面的人物，亚伯拉罕的侄子。失去了父亲的他，与亚伯拉罕一起去了迦南，在那里请亚伯拉罕分配了土地、约旦的低地。可是那里的城市·索多玛和蛾摩拉的人们非常坏，对主犯下了太甚的罪行。主将硫磺和火投落在这片罪恶之地，打算毁灭那个地域。
主想救助亚伯拉罕与罗得的家族，让他们逃出了那里，但是，尽管那时命令了「不可回头，不可停步」，罗得的妻子回了头张望，成为了盐柱。
这个故事，告诫人们在面对新的生活的起点，对过去的依恋是脚下最大的障碍，固执拘泥于过去的人们终将“过去化”(盐柱作为象征)。那么我们是所谓战胜了那里的盐化石吧。
同时，罗得是男子同性爱的城市，那个印象也与Hedwig的作品世界呼应着。
